Chevy's price range of $525 to $725 was competitive with Ford's $495 to $715. The six cylynder engine was just developed and utilized in this model year along with the Ford 6's. In 1927, Chevrolet passed Ford in sales and the 128 year introduced an enterily new desing model lineup of vehicles for Chevrolet. They were called the "Cast Iron Workhorse".
